This kit contains homoeopathic remedies that traditionally have been used for symptoms associated with recovery from surgery involving bony parts of the body.
Gelsemium 30c For anticipatory fears and anxiety. Will usually feel dull and withdrawn. One dose bedtime the night before and a dose on the morning of surgery. For more active anxiety with extreme fear and restlessness consider Aconite.
Pyrogen 30c Suppurating wounds after surgery. Acts as a preventative against infection. Take one dose on the day prior to surgery and twice daily for 7 days after surgery.
Arnica 30c, Hypericum 6c, Clematis 5x, Helianthemum 5x, Impatiens 5x, Prunus Ceras 5x, Orithogalum 5x, For bruising & bleeding, promotes regeneration of nerve tissue, wound healing, and alleviation of any stress or trauma carried over from the operation. Begin the day before to help with anticipation and boost immune response to surgery.
Ruta Grav 30c Operations involving cartilage and/or periosteum, or where bone is close to surface. Deep bruises with marked stiff feeling.
Staphysagria 30c Incised wounds, especially in genital or lower abdominal area, such as hysterectomy, haemorrhoids, circumcision, caesarian. Difficult healing with red, sensitive & “angry” wound. Complications & pain from cystoscopy & bladder or urethral procedures, episiotomy.
