Description
Stramonium has traditionally been used mainly for ailments of the mind that include night terrors, delirium, hysteria, mania, great anxiety and weeping. There is generally a fear of solitude and darkness, and an improvement with company and good light. There is a fear of water, shining objects and mirrors.
Stramonium may also be useful when there is bedwetting, dilated pupils, trembling and spasm, headache from sunstroke, stammering, fever & spasms, spasms of the throat, or a violent pain in the hips.
